teachers in Texas---they are opposed because they have no regard for their charges...only for their own arrogant interests. The pillory and a beating is in order for some of the nitwits. Our founding fathers had the right idea.

I'm guessing that these teachers do think the Founding Fathers had the right idea, and they think that they have a right to privacy, and a right not to have their fingerprints in some criminal database if they haven't been accused or suspected of a crime.

They might even think, with some justification, that a requirement that they be fingerprinted or lose their jobs is a violation of their 4th Amendment rights -- which would be a conservative position, don't you think?

Note: I had to be fingerprinted to become a teacher, and also for my concealed carry permit, but I can see the teachers' point.
