“at a minimum it means a tie when you factor in the margins of error and the Most Likely To Vote group, as well as the “Bradley/Wilder/Obama Effect.” Yes, I said the Bradley/Wilder/Obama Effect, because that was proven during the primaries. Remember the so called double digit lead the messiah had in California, well he lost by 13 points. Remember the late surge and supposed tightening of the polls in PA, well he lost there by 10 points (actually 9.5 points).”

I’m not really convinced by this. The ‘so-called double digit lead’ that you reference for Obama in California was just in one poll (from Zogby). It attracted attention purely because it was radicially different from what everyone else was saying. On the other hand the last two polls for the far more reputable SUSA showed Clinton leading by 10 and 12 points.

Likewise in Pennsylvania there’s no actual evidence of a late tightening of the polls, other than one outlier from an outfit that often seems to miss (PPP). Even including that the RCP average of the last polls was Clinton by 6.1% (she won by 9.2%).

Conversely there are plenty of examples where Obama significantly outpolled the opinion polls (eg. South Carolina RCP avg Obama by 11.6%, result Obama by 28.9%; Missouri RCP avg Clinton by 5.7%, result Obama by 1.2%; Georgia RCP avg Obama by 18%, result Obama by 35.3%; Wisconsin RCP avg Obama by 4.3%, result Obama by 17.4%).

It’s not nearly as clear cut as you claim.

I don't know if it's living where we do, but I frankly have never felt so defeated... Again, I blame Bush/Cheney for most of it... Not for their policies (aside from immigr, he's pretty solid), but for not fighting back at the Dem charges, and articulating what's going on with Iraq, price of oil, etc, on a DAILY Basis

The reticence to fight back has allowed all of those scurillous lies become fact in people's minds... I'm absolutely disgusted...

Have a great day anyway... Weather's amazing the past few days in CT, huh? Today's no different... Can't wait to get out of work (half-day today) and start the weekend!

Yes, but you could expect it to be vandalized within a day.

Last fall I was up in norhtern New Hampshire/Vermont, and the Obama yard signs were huge — 5x7 foot.

The American people have had it too good for too long. They don’t get it....that not facing up to our responsibilities and taking an isolationist stance will be our demise. A vote for Obama is a vote for all the things our founders opposed.
My daughter is not going to vote because she feels she has no choices. I have tried to convince her of the consequences. He is no Messiah....just another dime-a-dozen leftist who speaks eloquently. I hope we don’t have to find that out the hard way.

Wow, they must really like Hussein. His picture obscures the company logo on all of those covers.

That’s a great bumper sticker and thanks for the link to buy one. Right now Im struggling to build the “audacity” to put on on my car. I know the real result would by that my car would be vandalized by a moonbat Libtard and the lesser result would be conveying its message. At this point most people have pretty much already made up their minds.

B. Hussein has run out of steam. McCain will mop the floor with the militant during the debates.

But Hussein will win in a landslide after the debates because debates have no bearing on the actual vote.

McCain will get trounced because no self-respecting conservative can vote for him.

Obama's own words from Audacity of Hope: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

What self respecting person would allow this POS Muslim in the White House while our military are fighting and dying to keep them out of our country?

I could never vote for Muslim scum like Hussein, but I also can't violate my principles for liberal scum like McCain. Count me as one of the many, nose despite their face conservatives.

BTW, Rasmussen has moved California from the “safe Democrat” column. You said he would win in a landslide, what southern states do you suppose he’ll win?

Oh wow, you're following Rasmussen? LOL! If you believe his polls, I have a bridge for sale that one of his polls says you should buy... watch for that rope-a-dope...

Conservatives have no one to vote for. Liberals do! It's plain and simple. Conservatives vote on principles and liberals vote to win!

So what southern states will the Muslim militant win in your fictional landslide?

Florida for one, just look at their addition of over 100K felons to the rolls yesterday... and most likely other states with large black populations and traditional Conservatives who won't vote for a DimRat like McCain.

I personally think Texas will go McCain, but it certainly won't be with my vote. I couldn't live with myself for voting for someone like McCain. What I can assure you is, there are a lot of other "nose despite your face" conservatives who will join me.

Hussein scares the life out of me, but I feel certain that a McCain election ensures a 2012 DimRat lock, and a Hussein win this year ensures a resurgence of true conservatives in 2012.

We've weathered socialists like Hussein before, and we'll do it again. American's need to be reminded of how terrible a president like a Hussein is so that we can see the GOP turn back to true conservatism.

I understand your position but disagree on the way we need to proceed.  It would take decades to recoup our losses on the SCOTUS plus all the lower court appointees backed up in committee due to the Democrat's obstruction.  We can not let the Muslim in the White House, he will cause too much damage.  Obama will certainly get the moonbat and queer votes but he will not get the Republican, Reagan Democrat or Independent voters.

BTW, California has the homo marriage on the ballot for November and this will turn out the Republican and Independent voters.

I can respect that and your logic. Right now, both of our positions are pure conjecture and only opinions.

Don't get me wrong, Hussein terrifies me, but I feel dirty even considering voting for McCain.
