AZ Clean Fuels Yuma has been trying to get one built for over 10 years, South Dakota might see one built in the near future by a Texas company.
No new refineries in 32 years is INSANE.
It gets worse than that.
During the oil crash in the mid 1980’s, I was in import/export.
It was amazing how many people were selling scrap metal....
metal that used to be oil refineries on the Gulf Coast.
The only value these refineries had, at the time, was the going rate for scrap metal.
