NY's Triborough Bridge To Be Renamed For RFK
Reported by: Clyde Gray
Last Update: 6/05 4:01 pm
The bridge leading to New York's JFK Airport will soon be named for the former president's younger brother.
Governor David Paterson is set to sign a measure to rename the Triborough Bridge after New York Senator "Bobby" Kennedy.
At the time of his death, he was running for the democratic presidential nomination.
Make that “.....WERE at home bridge.”
Damn typos.
Wouldn’t a bridge in Massachusetts be more appropriate? Bobby Kennedy wasn’t from New York.
This can only mean one thing. New York liberals still aren’t comfortable naming a bridge after Stalin.
As my Dad often said, Bobby was Jack's hatchet man. Just ask Marilyn Monroe.

Idiots
The Triborough Bridge is nowhere near JFK airport. It is WAY on the other side of the city. It is one of the ways travelers can get to LaGaurdia Airport, but unless you were coming from Connecticut or the Bronx, getting to JFK via the Triborough Bridge would take you 15 miles out of your way!
Idiots
If you checkout the lives of his kids you'll find that most of them became (heroin) junkies, molesters, woman paralyzers....
Bobby was also sthupping Jackie within 3 months of Jack’s death.
Ethel knew about it, but there was nothing she could do about it.
I think it might be particularly tough to explain this to Governor Patterson.
Think of the child support in today's dollars for 11 kids of a US Senator.
Not all his kids.
His son Douglas has done a good job as an investigating reporter on FOX for some years.
Ah,c'mon. You're joking. What kind of a scumbag do you have to be to do that to your sister-in-law? And what kind of a whore do you have to be to allow your brother-in-law to do that to you? There's not much I'd put past the Kennedys but *this* I find impossible to believe.
RFK? Dang, she got around...
Well, she was a lady of easy virtue. There are a lot of them in Hollywood and I guess there always has been.
As much as I loved Ronnie...the bridge should now and forever remain the Golden Gate Bridge. I think Ronnie would agree with it as well.
RFK thought the very same thing about the Triborough Bridge - no?
Everyone talks about Jack's affairs, but Jackie was just as bad or worse. She was getting back at him for his incredible hanky panky. She was doing Ari, the head of FIAT and others before November ‘63.
Jackie even went on one trip to Italy for “cultural” reasons, but forgot her diaphragm. She had it flown over by courier. JFK found out and went ballistic.
I was a very young reporter then. We all knew about it, but it was off limits.
“Nemesis” is a great, and very well researched book.
I agree, some of RFK’s kids are a real trip.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has got a good gig shilling oil for Hugo Chavez. (Call Joe for Oil commercials are jamming the airwaves in the Northeast during the winter months).
RFK Jr. takes in $600,000 a year selling discounted oil from the Venezuelan dictator.
Jackie? Dang, she got around...
Thanks—I had never known about the RFK/Jackie liasions.
The whole Kennedy clan were really lowlifes—they did not deserve to be given the royalty treatment. I think Ethel and Rose were the only decent ones.
Among the problems, he wanted to sthupp anything that had breasts and a pulse, while Jackie though herself as “French” and so much better than the “pedestrian” Americans she had to shake hands with on the political circuit. Anyone who had money, a European accent and an aggressive personality was attractive to her.
Jack was worse.
Jack and his whoring-around friend Den Sen George Samthers were playing hide the salami in Italy when Jackie had one of her miscarriages. Jack didn't even come back to the States for about a week. He only pulled up his zipper and flew home when Smathers told him how much political damage he was doing to himself by staying in Italy.
It even went to far that Jack had a 17, repeat 17 year old girl who would “service him”, Monica-style, in the back of the presidential limousine between stops while out of DC.
She never married, reversed her life and became the secretary for the Episcopal (I thing that's the denomination) Bishop of NYC.
