You know it is; I know it is, but to the “scientist” and news organizations that carried the story, it is not a joke.
The earthquake data MIGHT be real, but the “explanation” is pure hokum.

CBS News carried this AP story therefore it's fake, but accurate. If you google Dr. Tom Chalko you can see he's a total crackpot.

We know in the past the Earth has been both much warmer and colder. Is there any past correlation with temps and earthquakes in the geological record. something easy to check.
