Larry Sinclair's press conference today at the National Press Club ended with the surprise appearance of US Marshalls, who presented a warrant for Sinclair's arrest. The DC police arrested and led Sinclair away in handcuffs.
UPDATES UPDATE at 6:32 pm Wednesday June 18, 2008: Sinclair was indeed arrested by DC police immediately after his press conference and is being held, at present, by the Washington DC Police Department. Sinclair's being held at the 1st Division, 415 No. 4 Street SW. No charges have been announced. According the The Mitch and Nan Show blog:
After a phone call to the Washington DC Police, we have verified that Lawrence Wayne Sinclair has been arrested at the National Press Club just after his press conference ended. Thanks to the fine folks who frequent The Mitch and Nan Show, Larry Sinclair has been arrested.
--Information provided by The Mitch and Nan Show: THE MITCH AND NAN SHOW ET. AL HAVE LARRY W. SINCLAIR ARRESTED!
UPDATE 6:53 pm Wednesday June 18, 2008: Sinclair was arrested by DC Police after 2 US Marshalls showed up and presented a warrant from the State of Delaware for Sinclairs arrest. Montgomery Blair Sibley, whos had his law license suspended by the District of Columbia and Florida, and who was previously Sinclairs attorney, reviewed the warrant and then Sinclair was led away.
UPDATE 7:01 pm Wed June 18: According to a poster at Sinclair's blog--who claims to be his mother--Sinclair is to be transported to Delaware, where he'll appear before a judge. Bail will be discussed at that time. It seems unlikely that bail will be granted, since Sinclair skipped out on $15,000 bail in Colorado and is still wanted by the Pueblo Co. Sheriff's Department.

It’s discussed in the other articles about the press conference.
The guy’s lawyer is an absolute nut. It does say something about the validity of his claims if that’s the only lawyer he can get to represent him.

Obama is just the kind of cold, self-absorbed scumbag who would leave his gay lover to rot in jail.
Wow. What a p.o.s.

Lot of points in your comment. Larry actually gave out a name for the limo driver (the same one he named last week at the NPC event) back in March publicly. He'd named him in a comment before then, but it was definitely deleted, actually on the same night he made it. Larry also named the driver back in January, in an interview that was never published. I spoke with the reporter and his checks of the limo driver name led him to the same conclusion that we reached after some checks: that like most of Larry's info, once it's checked, it's either false or unverifiable. Larry then denied, when later asked, that that man (Parjit, I believe, but I don't have it in front of me) was the limo driver. He then said the limo driver was "scared to come forward because of retaliation from Obama". Finally, Sinclair settled on his current story that the limo driver and Obama were in cahoots. At his press conference, Larry furnished no proof, but challenged others to verify what he cannot. All we know at this point is that Larry's story on the limo driver has changed several times. One note: The name Larry gave out last week is the same name as the man who used to own the limo service before he sold it and moved back to India. At least one published comment by Larry stated that the limo driver had moved back to India. This particular comment may have been deleted--I'm not working on that aspect of the story; we have screenshots of everything Larry has ever published, but slogging through them in search of a particular item is a bit slow. It's not unreasonable to think that an owner of a small limo company could have also been a driver, but Larry's stated that the limo driver was a young guy--and the previous owner of the limo company is now in his late 50s. We've turned up some interesting info that casts further doubt on Larry story--but we're saving it for a "special report" that we're publishing next weekend (hopefully it will be ready by then). Believe it or not, I'm about Larry-ed out. But a short rest will probably cure that!
