Considering the witch hunt that the Times is doing on him, I have to conclude that the judge has committed no crime and is likely a constitutionalist, which offends liberals.

The air time or page space given to a particular political scandal is a direct consequence of political affiliation. If William Jefferson was a Republican, his name would be a household word.

Kozinski was appointed to the San Francisco-based appeals court by President Ronald Reagan in 1985. He is considered by many legal observers a judicial conservative on most issues. There is your answer.
