If only we hasd been hearing the evidence ofsome real stones like this for the past 4 years instead of at the end of a lame duck when nobody in Congress cares.

How about giving credit where credit is due: Bush has been trying to allow drilling throughout his presidency:

If he was REALLY serious, he would declare our oil to be a matter of Strategic National Security and open drilling by presidential order.

He has that authority under existing laws that grant that very same authority to ... Saudi Arabia and all of OPEC.

That is how OPEC is allowed to operate a monopoly in restraint of trade, contrary to all international trade laws that pertain to everyone else who has not done so.

Thank you!!! Bush had made energy independence one of his main objectives...and couldn’t get anywhere in the ‘just say no’ Democrat-led Congress
