Keep in mind, Red -- Sileh and al-Maliki don't have a bunch of FReepers to advise them on what the propaganda is they're subject to. Like me in the early 70's -- "The most trusted man in America" said it every night on SeeBS so it must have been true.

Our own State Dept. is at fault for a lot of the problems our troops get into -- they are infused with liberals who only act on their 'feelings' instead of facts.

He’s a disgraceful porker. One of the news channels out of Pittsburgh (iirc) did a story/investigation about the drug intel center in Johnstown which was set up and is funded by Murtha. This “center” allegedly does little good above what other agencies do and the news station tried to learn about its reasons for existence. Murtha was his old nasty self trying to talk his way out of it.

That said, apparently some Republican tried to have Murtha’s “center” removed from the House budget and Murtha freaked out, stating that if this congressman had any plans for earmarks in the Defense Appropriations Bill — ever — they would be a wash.

What a nice guy, huh?

Whether justice has been served in the Haditha prosecutions depends on the outcome of Wuterich's case, Silliman said, adding he believes the case continues to be closely watched in Iraq.

"He is the principal actor in this, and before you can make a determination that justice was done, we need to see the final outcome," he said.

Lancey, right on target. They're going after Wuterich with guns blazing.

Also, this idea of a new investigation againt Chessani is cruel. This needs to stop. It means they go back to square one and start over. As you said, they start over with a crooked NCIS.

Everything prior is thrown out, I would presume, because it's tainted.
