You do have to be a little careful with it, though. In certain locations, I’ll turn the ringer on soft, so it doesn’t broadcast very far. Offending people is one thing; enraging particular segments of the population is another. Funny ringtone story: I was in a meeting with several Navy vets. One of the contractor's ring tone was set to General Quarters (go to Wikipedia and click on the audio sample). His phone rang during the meeting - the Navy guys got a bad flashback!
