There is no need to own a jet when leasing and fractional ownership is an option. In any case, a jet is not the best choice for Alaska, where many of the places the Governor would need to go are not equipped with the kinds of runways a jet would require.
Now, if she wanted to spring for a DeHaviland DHC-2, I think we would all understand.
