If the KOSsacks and DUmmies could read, heads would explode.
My local McDonald’s in hiring.
Eh. It just sounds like a balloon popping anyway.
bump
The Sheep will never se this, unless it’s a 30-second commercial break for Dancing with the American Idols who Want to be Millionaires on the next Oprah.
I wonder if we could actually teach them to read?
Do we have any FR sleeper cells over there? Someone needs to post the LA Times article in full.
LA TIMES: James Kirchick June 16, 2008 - Bush never lied to us about Iraq
The Democrats have tied themselves into knots over Iraq. First they let their fear of being perceived as weak force them into authorizing force. Then they let their fear of being held responsible force them into opposing the war. In order to explain this flip/flop, they were forced into an argument that they were deceived.
At no point in this process was the Democrat’s position dictated by the national interest or the facts on the ground. They have been playing the political expedient shots at each and every stage.
Now, the job for the Republicans is to make the case that Iraq is going to be a victory. This will force the Democrats to tack back, yet again, in order to claim credit for the success. This will be the bridge too far, and will destroy what little credibility the Democrats have left.

The *claim* that Bush lied is itself the Big Lie.
they’ll actually be smug about it. The nutroots has despised TNR as a Republican shill (!) for quite a while now. They think it’s a triangulated sell-out.
Nice, but still false. The bulk of the intelligence was absolutely correct (no intelligence is 100% correct, ever). Saddam Hussein was a terrorist, he was an ally and supporter of al Qaeda (among other terrorist organzations) and he had an ambitious weapons program. Not to mention he was one of the most prolific mass-murderers on the face of the planet and in violation of the terms of the cease fire that he agreed to.
Bush didn’t lie. Neither did the intelligence. We had every reason in the world to invade Iraq.
James Kirchick, I hope your resume is updated, and I hope your NEXT job is even more fulfilling.
IIRC, Martin Peretz, TNR’s former editor, endorsed Bush in ‘04.
The lies/truths have come full circle.
We all knew that President Bush did not lie. Democrats and their kiss-up liberal media friends perpetuated this myth. Unfortunately, there haven’t been enough strong conservatives in the Republican party to refute those comments so the libs have been able to get away with it.
Truth hurts libs. Truth wins elections. Make sure we hear the truth in this election campaign.
I did look West this morning to see if the sun would appear rising over that horizon.
