All modern diesels are much quieter and smoother than their older cousins. It has nothing to do with vegetable oil.

Why would GM engineers be fascinated because somebody bolted a Duramax into an H2?

Sounds like the guy is quite the BS artist.

You need to adopt my tagline it seems. He is putting in a turbine engine, 60K rpm to charge batteries in a big hurry, then shut off. This is not a diesel, but a jet engine coupled to a generator.

Um... Not really.

The difference between you and him is that you are just sitting back twiddling your fingers on a keyboard and taking potshots....

while he is actually DOING something about it.

Right or wrong I give him the credit for trying while all you should get is raspberries for typing.
