The Saudis opening up the taps slightly is not enough to crush the entire concept of offshore or ANWR drilling, as it is with oil shale.

Insane, isn’t it? Shale oil, natural gas, nuclear plants, offshore drilling, Mt. West coal etc. , all are available to us with good, solid technological safety bases. That liberal Dems will love the snail darter and kangaroo rat over our own population and be afraid of some so called global warming natural disaster is just cowardly. Drill, drill and write ole John to change his mind because this is an issue which the GOP could actually win with.
