“Build new nuclear plants -Improve electricity grid”

More than 8 Million homes in the U.S. are still heated by Oil. WHY?
I can understand why it may take decades to develop a non-petroleum car engine that can actually perform as well as the engine it’s replacing – but there is no reason homes should still be heated by oil, when they could be using electricity. Home heating oil is the “low hanging fruit” that everyone in D.C. seems to be ignoring. Getting those homes on an improved electricity grid could have a huge impact on lowering oil consumption.

Our house is heated with natural gas, that is cheaper than electricity.
