Try the Old Testament. After the Flood, G-d made covenant with His people never to destroy humanity. He gave us the ability to choose and the responsibility that choice entails. We will be the ones who fail, not G-d.

Uh. Hello. After the flood, God put his “bow” in the sky as a symbol of his promise never to destroy the earth by WATER again. He didn’t promise it wouldn’t be by fire, which is spoken of in the New Testament as the way it will go as in “the elements will dissolve with a fervent heat”. The earth has already been very hot during creation, but we were in a safe place when that happened, just like we will be if it happens like the NT says.

Uh. I don’t remember posting anything about choosing and responsibility or God failing or any of the other things your reply mentioned.
