“presumed Republican nominee John McCain” v “Democrats’ standard-bearer, Barack Obama”
Why is McCain, who cinched his party’s nomination in February, the “resumed” nominee, while Obama IS the standard-bearer ?
I’d prefer the “resigned” nominee John McCain. What are those chances?
