Does kissing them annoy them?

Because, if so, environmentalists have been annoying them for years and it hasn't made the news or taken a presidential decree.

Cute picture. I have really enjoyed the pictures this year of Flocke, the baby polar bear being raised by zookeepers in Nuremberg.
