Uh...guys? Look at Nuhna di Abuv’s signup date. He’s probably just a troll.

Of course McCain deserves to be criticized for not being conservative enough, but we have to keep our criticism reasoned and clear. There’s been so much blind anger directed at McCain that trolls have been able to infiltrate us and bash McCain from the left, while pretending to be criticizing him from the right. Never forget who our real enemies are...Osama and Obama.

Ultra liberal Obama is NOT good for America and thus he is especially bad for black America. I understand the conflict for some when they say, "Finally, a candidate who "looks" like me."

But voting for someone as weak, inexperienced and thoroughly compromised as Obama means one must sacrifice their core philosophies and beliefs for the politics of the moment. Inevitably, those conservatives who vote for him will have to defend the indefensible when Obama shows his liberal colors to those who only saw his skin color.

Obama is a puppet dancing for the many who pull his strings. He and those who control him should not be given the keys to the White House and the country.

He wasn't always like he is now. I remember wanting McCain to be my Senator. He said the right things and seemed to believe them. Sadly, McCain has earned the criticism he gets here and elsewhere. He has taught me not to trust him to do the right thing on a large variety of issues. Even sadder still, it takes someone like Obama or Hillary to make John McCain look good. Obama and Osama are dangerous, unfortunately, so is McCain.

Can the black community deal with its own racism?

It appears it cannot.

J.C. Watts, a former Oklahoma congressman who once was part of the GOP House leadership, said he’s thinking of voting for Obama.

__

Hannity AND all of the freepers calling for him to be VP, Watts has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer as I and others pointed out to wayward freepers ; )

Watts and Armstrong Williams now disgust me, you can’t be a conservative and even CONSIDER voting for Obama. It’s like me being heterosexual and considering an affair with Michael Moore.

From Allen West (running for FL-22):

For most of my adult life I took an oath to a simple document, the US Constitution, to support and defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same. My allegiance is to America, its people, and their rights as put forth in that superb document. I shall not discard my principles and commitment to my God and Country, just because. I applaud Senator Obama for his accomplishment, however, there is no way I will vote for someone that is so contrary to my beliefs in lower taxes, limited government, individual rights and freedoms, individual responsibility and accountability, not collective prosperity sharing.

I grew up in inner city Atlanta Georgia, and my elementary school, Our Lady of Lourdes, is across the street from Ebenezer Baptist Church. Dr King’s seminal ideal of “content of character vs color of skin” resonates with me. Regardless of the probable ensuing vitriolic name calling, my ideology and principles are not in concert with those of Senator Obama. I wish him well, but I dont wish him to be President of THESE United States of America”.

Lieutenant Colonel Allen B West (US Army, Ret)
Republican Candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives
Florida District 22

I just saw your hetero-Michael Moore comment. HILARIOUS!!!

And so true.

(I’m actually laughing out loud.)

With Allen West we’re getting a real conservative that has a proven LIFE of service to the USA. And this man will never break. He sees the important issues, not just what’s on the surface or skin deep. Allen is an American hero that I trust with my life.

... but for the first time in my life, history thrusts me to really seriously think about it," Williams said.

And, for the first time in his life, Armstrong is probably proud of his country.

The rest of us are stuck with voting for a pale, gutless, horse-whisperer!
