It was one of those earthquakes that turn from mildly "interesting" to "dammit, when WILL this thing STOP?!". Not fun. Living in Eureka Ca since 1954 I can honestly say... BEEN THERE...DONE THAT

The earthquake in Alaska in ‘64 lasted 4-5 MINUTES!!!
I know that a 30 second earthquake is too long but 4-5 minutes!!!
