Again, without Reagan vetoing the Fairness Doctrine, NO Rush, NO Hannity-Vannity, NO Levin, NO Savage. God bless Ronald Reagan.

However, it was Newt Gingrich who fought for 20 years to get a GOP controlled Congress. And with the help of the Contract With America, the GOP took control for the first time in 40 years. Rush was instrumental in spreading the conservative agenda on his radio show. But it was Newt --- along with Dick Armey and Trent Lott --- who deserve the most of the credit for decades of hard work that assured Republican victory in 1994.
