Good comments, and I agree with Rush completely.
Tim was around long enough to be just jaded enough and just skeptical enough to be objective without being cynical or snide. He could smell the BS no matter what side it was coming from, and he was happy to let the politicians reveal themselves for what they were.

I would not be surprised if Obama will put Tim Russert on the ticket posthumously.
