Could be mistaken, but I thought I heard that they were pairing Keith Olbermann with him, and that it was viewed as a real slap in the face to him. Anyone know anything about this? So Russert’s spot goes to . . . Olbermann now?????

Russert was a News Bureau Chief. Olbermann is a Minister Of Propaganda. They have as much in common as stalactites and waffles. If you thought DNC-TV/MS-LSD was careening madly to the left before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Slim and none. I don't understand why people fear that clown -- he has no cachet at NBC. None. GE hates him. Chrissy gets first call for Meet The Depressed; Gregory always bends over "for the good of the network"; what will be interesting to watch is whether Olbermann gets Hardball in the shuffle, or whether Chrissy's anoited successor Schuster can beat him to the punch.

I heard something about that..Russert might have leaned lib but Olberman isn't worthy of being in the same room with him.
