That’s a faction of the party.

It's the overwhelming majority of the 'Rat party. Can you name even six "conservative Democrats" in Congress? This isn't a trick question. I certainly can't name them.

Is there such a thing as a conservative democrat? Beats me. It's not a term I have ever used. I made an assertion that there are non-liberal dems, and there are those. Moderate dems, I suppose they are called. I don't know that there are many of them in the national legislature, but we have several of them in my state legislature. Pro-2A, pro-life dems.

A lot of times, in a union-heavy state, your only chance at being electable is to have a "D" after your name.
