A lot of freepers have difficulty understanding why non-liberals would affiliate themselves with, as you concisely stated, the party of "the Kennedys, the Clintons, the Obamas, Olberman, Soros, Kos.."

That’s a faction of the party. GOPers have factions as well. I don’t affiliate myself with Snowe, Schwarznegger, or McCain, for that matter.
