The problem is both the candidates buy into this crap. We will soon have another tax known as cap and trade.

It was pointed out in the other thread that this author is sounding as if peak oil (if real) has something to do with environmentalists which is doubtful.

didn’t IGore, in his book “earth in the balance” call for a $5 surtax on fuel - to force conservation?
people who buy in to the glodal warming ought to rejoice in high gas prices. it’s to their purpose.

He makes a lot of sense.
And isn’t Al Gore violating a key principle of scientific research when he says that the global warming debate is over? Since there is strong evidence on the other side, true scientific inquiry would lead serious scientists to conclude that the debate is NOT over, and that further study is needed to make conclusions. Yet Al Gore and his ilk have jumped to their own conclusions based on inconclusive and contradictory data on the temperature, weather patterns, etc.
Isn’t science an ongoing search for the truth, and a search for the answers of how weather and climate works?
And, doesn’t true scientific research study a subject, and report whatever they discover, and let the chips fall where they may? Isn’t Al Gore violating science because he has a vested interest in scientists agreeing with him?
In fact, isn’t Al Gore running a dog and pony show when he goes around and lectures the world about global warming?

The problem is both the candidates buy into this crap. We will soon have another tax known as cap and trade. Not if we turn out in force on election day and elect conservatives to congress.

Yup. High energy and food prices are the result of envirowacko polices promoted by the Left and supported by weak RINOs.
This is the biggest scam in the history of the world.

I call each of McCain s offices in Arizona, and tell them if he would demand we drill for our own oil, the US would not be dependent on foreign oil, and if he would make this his campaign issue.. he would get more votes...perhaps if every one would blast his office with calls, it might help? but who knows... he wants to take away their profits.. but some how beer distributors are exempt...

Maybe a little off topic, but I can't help but wonder how the dinosaurs got 24,000 ft. under the ground surface, i.e. “fossil fuels”.
??? Someone please help me understand this phenomenon, please!
