Why shouldnt people know the person who is reporting on [President George W.] Bush, say didnt like Bush? Telushkin asked.
Gregory responded by saying that knowledge, not the journalists ideology, would slant their coverage and people should be assured journalists abide by governing principles, even if theyre not explicitly stated.
...Bill Clinton was in attendance and was photographed with Wright. However, Gregory declined to use it.
I stopped, Gregory said. I had just come from my study session and said, No, that would be oppressive to remind Bill Clinton of his past on my program. And so, I elected not to play that sound byte because I wanted to, you know, try to take a little high ground.
According to Jewish Law, it is a sin discredit or say negative thing about a person, even if they are true, a sin called lashon ha-ra. Gregory said using that for his show would have compromised those religious and moral guidelines.
Gregory also discussed the rise of other competing media. He told the audience the expansion of the new media talk radio, 24-hour cable news channels and the Internet had been bad for society.

Is Mr. Gregory kidding?
Listen, I used to spend a lot of time in The White House briefing room during the Reagan years. The reporters HATED Ronald Reagan and anyone on his staff.
Interesting thing about reporters: Many of them hate what they do; hate who they work for; and hate anyone who has money - inlcuding fellow reporters.
They are also lousy dressers(unless they’re on network TV).
If hypocrisy had any weight at all this toad, gregory, would be crushed under the load he carries.
Ah, Gregory, we already know it. It is pretty damned obvious. At least be honest in your reporting ... or is what you are really saying is that “honesty will destroy reporting?” If that is the case, then it wasn’t really reporting in the first place, was it?
Thats a liberal characteristic. Thinking everyone else is just as stupid as you are.
Nobody with half a brain would believe this absolute, stinking Bravo Sierra, but I bet that imbecile said it with a straight face anyway.
You mean there actually is someone on the planet who doesn't already know how journalists vote? They must be the ones who can't read or hear.
"But I'd Never Ever show my hatred for President Bush, Republicans or Conservatives. ...never have, never will! "
That having been said, Gregory is a leftist twit. I wouldn't hire this putz to spear trash!
Gregory and his ilk are not reporters, but merely partisan shills.
This fool’s asshatery never ceases to amaze.
“Gregory...told the audience the expansion of the new media talk radio, 24-hour cable news channels and the Internet had been bad for society.”
Translation: “How dare anybody challenge OUR self-awarded right to tell YOU what to think? WE know what’s best, and YOU had damned well better listen to US.”
BAAWWWAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.......yeah....the TRUTH hurts!
BAAAAWEEEEHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA.........OMG.......POT-KETTLE-BLACK
The arrogance of these leftist reporters—in fact, of leftists, period—never ceases to amaze me. We knuckle-draggers just can’t handle all of these new sources of information. Muddles our very limited thinking abilities. I suppose we should just leave things to Gregory and his gaggle of straight-shooting, non-biased, fellow truth tellers. They will guide us through our pathetic, unimportant little lives, slowly and patiently, making certain we have all of the information they believe we can handle. Naturally, all of the proper conclusions will be pre-drawn for our benefit. How these people voted??? You mean, as if we didn’t already know???
WTF!!! (pardon my acronym)
How in the hell can he be a reporter if he can never report anything negative about a person. Hey Dick, is your show about puppies and kittens?
Gregory also discussed the rise of other competing media. He told the audience the expansion of the new media talk radio, 24-hour cable news channels and the Internet had been bad for society.
Translation: its bad for his career.
Bravo.
Sierra.
This statemnet already gives away his bias.
Unless, of course, the person is a conservative Republican.
I like that idea !! But better to have it listed under their name or when they sign off
Kind of like
Senator Klinton D-NY
David Gregory D-NBC
or
Have them sign off their report "For NBC News, Democrat Socialist David Gregory, from (insert present location)"
