John McCain contributed to the appointments of Pricella Owen, Janice Rogers Brown, and others. So if he’s elected President, the end of Roe vs. Wade is a possiblity. What kind of judges do you think Obama would appoint?
If it weren’t for the WOT and the Supreme Court, I might agree with the “let Obama win so that conservatives can benefit from his mistakes.” I’m not thrilled with McCain. But right now, there’s too much at stake.
I think he will end up exactly like Ford. When Stevens dies, he appoints a liberal. The rodent Senate won’t allow anything different. McCain has always demonstrated more of a willingness to fight the right rather than fight for what IS right and going along to get along with the rodents. I think Obama’s appointments and McCain’s (at least to SCOTUS) will be effectively identical.
