I wish more journos like Jonah Goldberg would actually visit the proposed drilling areas of ANWR. Heck, I wish *I* could figure out a way to go there.
It's going to take a whole lot of fact-checking by a lot of folks to overcome the selfish and deluded intransigence of the environmental left (most of whom have never and will never see ANWR).

Then you don't understand the leftist mindset. Your petty little life means nothing against the majesty of safeguarding “The Environment”. Your death (if it came to that) would just be a necessary event in the protection of Mother Gaia. And if your death means nothing, why would you expect anything less catastrophic in your life to matter to them?
Their lives, however, will not be adversely affected by any of their policies. They will see to that.
As to the seconds statement, yep, this is total BS. Why do you think that makes any difference?
