If he (someone) had this instrument then, why wait until now to provide it instead of weeks ago?

Who knows....playing games? Maybe the mother's name listed on the certificate? Again, I don't know how Hawaii designates parents' names on a certificate of birth, but if someone has a recent reissue of a Hawaiian birth certificate, it would help clear up whether the parents' last names should be the same or not (if they are married). Of course, if the parents divorced, and the mom retook her original maiden name, it might explain the Dunham name.

I have no idea why this was released so late, and why to the Kos website.

KJC1 was taking major heat on this thread for trying to perform exactly this service (clarifying elements of a Hawaiian birth certificate).

I happen to agree that there is still room for discussion, but everybody is a little too quick to cry "forgery" without more substantial evidence. After all, we don't ALL have the discerning gaze of Buckhead (courtesy ping, Buckhead).
