The real issue is how could “someone” get a copy of Obama’s birth certificate a year ago, since only the person, the person's spouse, parents, children ,etc, are the only ones who can usually obtain a copy? What would this copy be doing showing up on DailyKos?

I have no idea about that part of it, I just know that besides the personal info, the posted image looks identical to what I am looking at in front of me. (Note: I don’t think this is at all what an original birth certificate looks like-—haven’t seen mine in years-—but it IS what is issued when requesting a duplicate.)
