See my Post # 51. I agree with you. I think it’s a rhetorical device. But don’t point that out to Plain ole American. To in any way comment on the style of the story, as opposed to its content, is to leave yourself open to attack.
POA hates wasting energy on those hung up on symbolism over substance... especially when they use left-wing talking points in that process.
