The thing I’m seeing is that this whole upper-class liberal rush to canonize Barry is all about what they really recognize is his agenda: we’re all going to be set up as either their field hands or their household help and that has got to appeal to the indolent and self-indulgent rich. As Scarlett qualifies in spades for this, one isn’t even interested to learn she has BDS, etc. It would go with the territory.
