Oh, and further, his mother would have had to do some paperwork to get Barack his American citizenship if he was born outside of America.
At the time that Obama was born, there was no such provision, and if one of the parents was NOT a US citizen and the child was born outside of US jurisdiction, then the child would have to go through the naturalizaton process.
Quite honestly, I see no reason to believe that Obama was not born in the US, so I think this is a false issue.
