This is a nice sign for McCain, and underlines one of the key differences between the Obamao and John McCain, Obamao being a man of the Internationalist stripe, he views Israel as a “problem” to be manhandled in line with the Eurocentric View.
Good to hear we are winning the battle to get some Democratic Jews to support McCain.
Israel is our only true ally in the Middle East, a) and it deserves to survive besides, b) and Christianity sprang from the Judaic root , c) and Obie loves our enemy and can’t convince us otherwise, d.

I’ve been a member here for a couple of years now, and the one thing that Conservative Jewish FR have said time after time is that liberal Jews live right, but vote left.
Perhaps this time, McCain can top the 44% that Ronald Reagen received in 1980, hopefully this time they can see the danger and skip the Carter II Presidency.
It’s not so much McCain as Obama, IMHO.
In the past, although the moonbat left has often sided with the Palestinians against Israel, most Democrat politicians, and certainly presidents, have not been noticeably different from Republicans on this issue.
Obama looks to be different. I think there is a credible threat that he will actually side with the Muslims on many issues, and that he will abandon Israel.
Sure, hillary kissed Suha and took money from Palestinian terrorists, but that’s just because she is corrupt, not because she is an Islamist. Obama is something we have never seen before in national politics at this level.
If it were any other Republican running, they would have the same opportunity as McCain, to start peeling off Jews from the Democrat party. And that could have lasting consequences.
Osama Obama being endorsed by Al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah won’t endear him to Jews that care about Israel or their children and grandchildren’s futures.
Not all that thrilled about McCain getting this support from Jewish ‘Rats (especially those who cozied up to Her Royal Thighness), but better that the money is going there than to “Osama” Obama.
In the past, Jewish voters have been overwhelmingly Democratic in most elections, but with a few exceptions.
In 1972, Richard Nixon got around 40% of the Jewish vote, maybe a bit more, which was a historic showing.
In 1980, Jimmy Carter only won around 45% of the Jewish vote (the worst showing for a Democrat in American history), with Ronald Reagan winning somewhere between 36% and 39% and the rest supporting Independent candidate John Anderson.
In 1984, Jewish Democrats who supported Anderson returned to the party fold, and Ronald Reagan won 32% of the Jewish vote, less than expected, but still mugh higher than normal for a Republican.
In 2004, George W. Bush made some inroads among Jewish voters, who had supported Al Gore before largely due to Joseph Lieberman being on the ticket. He won around 33%, a big gain over 2000.
With Barack Obama as the nominee, and even more if Hillary Clinton is his running mate, Republicans have a historic opportunity with that voting bloc. John McCain needs to choose a running mate well-regarded in the Jewish community as well as with conservatives.
Some of my religious brethren are getting religion. Translated: Obama scares the hell out of them, and so do his friends and advisors.
Michelle scares me. She makes Hillary look like Sister Teresa.
And it is going to get worse for Obamie.
Researchers are digging deeper on him and his friends than the Mafia did to bury Jimmy Hoffa.

Please define, this is not my experience.
Actually, Carter's % has been put at something like 50% or a bit higher. (Of course, there are varying figures from varying sources, and many if not most, tend to be fudged toward the 'Rats a bit.) Regardless, Carter's vote was not the "the worst showing by a Democrat in American history," because from the Civil War to about 1920, the Jewish vote, what there was of it, tended to go Republican because of the idolization of Abraham Lincoln. Then, as memories and myths of Lincoln died out, FDR replaced him as the the Jewish presidential "god."
There are a lot of Jews who have voted Dem since FDR defeated Nazism, and link opposition to antisemitism to the Dems (even though FDR’s government sent a shipload of Jews back to Europe to be gassed). It has almost become a mitzvah. If no other good comes from this whore-contest we’re parading as an election, perhaps some Jews will vote Repub for the first time in their lives and break this taboo.
