By profession, I'm a cook and wireless engineer. My preferred method of ending an incident is to pin the other barstids primary hand and slash at the throat.
But that's just me.
I've not had luck with firearms in personal confrontations in the 7-8 times that I've used them.

I love my kukri. I've never had to defend myself with it though. I have only come close to defending myself with a gun as well. But several times I have been darned glad to have it and there would probably have been a confrontation, to my detriment, if I had not.
I’m looking for a post I read earlier in the week (or over the weekend) that said Barack is part Arab. I’m having a conversation about that and would love to read it again...
