Gathering...is not fishing.
Show me the sticks they use for poles and what they're making their hooks out of...;-)

How is this significant? Bears eat fish, are they fishing? For that matter sharks eat fish, are they fishing? Seems to be a complete misuse of the word.
To: null and void
Big deal...bears do this all the time. Show me a monkey with a rod and reel and I’ll be impressed.

their ability to thrive in urban and rural environments from Indonesia to northern Thailand could offer lessons for endangered species Give a macaque a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a macaque to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

When they can thread and bait a hook I’ll be impressed....
To: null and void
Unless they are using bait, it’s not fishing. They see a fish in the water and pick it up, big deal.

(?!?!?!?!)
they must be on the road to proving the missing link.
(ever see a bear in the middle of a river “fishing”?)

As with Monty Python’s moose, can the monkeys fill out complicated insurance forms as well?
