Obama’s fanatical support of abortion to the point of condoning infanticide.”

I wonder if his daughters know about this?

I have had to hold cats and dogs until they died (they were sick and/or old) and I suffered nightmares and was mental for days. Imagine having to hold a baby, in that condition, until it dies. Everyone pray for these nurses. They need it!

I know. When I was a teenager I held our budgie parakeet until it died, after it had run into the ceiling fan. I was traumatized. Can you imagine holding someone's dying unwanted child, who would have lived if given the kind of treatment some people give their sick dogs and cats?

I’ve been waiting for this to come into play. This was one of the first things I ever learned about BHO back when he was running for IL Senate.

This guy is absoulutely going to get torched by the 527’s..

Seriously, Hillary’s baggage seems like carry-on compared to this guy.

September & October are going to schocking for the DNC. You just can’t explain all this stuff away, and the DNC is stuck with him. Are they all in denial and think puff speeches are going to make it all better?

Jill Stanek has been talking about this for years (before people even knew Obama’s name).

Hussein Obama is a sadly deceived individual who has no business whatsoever being the next POTUS.

I’m an ordained minister and I’m not going to say that a person is not a born-again Christian if they vote along the lines of the Democrat party platform (pro-abortion, pro-gay unions, pro-gun control), but I will say that if they do, they are against God and His commands, extremely immature in the faith, they have sided with the devil’s agenda, and are astonishingly ignorant of the what the Bible says.

Let’s just look at one example of Biblical truth as it relates to murdering innocent children through abortion as defined by the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary.

“ABORTION

The Bible places a high value on all human life, including that of the unborn. Biblical teaching declares that life is a sacred, God-given gift (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7; Deut. 30:15-19; Job 1:21; Ps. 8:5; 1 Cor. 15:26), especially the life of children (Ps. 127:3-5; Luke 18:15-16), and condemns those who take it away (Exod. 20:13; 2 Kings 1:13; Amos 1:13-14). The development of unborn life is controlled by God (Job 31:15; Ps. 139:13-16; Eccles. 11:5; Isa. 44:2; 46:3; 49:5; Jer. 1:5; Luke 1:15; Gal. 1:15). The personhood of the fetus is clearly taught in Exod. 21:22 where the unborn is called a “child” (yeled) rather than a “fetus” (nephel or golem). Hos. 9:11 implies that life begins at conception, while Luke 1:41,44 recognizes the consciousness of an unborn child.

The high value placed on unborn human life in the Bible is consistent with the Mosaic law regarding negligent miscarriage (Exod. 21:22-25). This law can be compared to similar statutes in the Code of Hammurabi (nos. 209-214) in which the punishment exacted for acts of negligence that resulted in a woman’s miscarriage was dependent on the legal or social status of the mother, not the personhood (or supposed lack thereof) of her unborn child. Middle Assyrian law no. 53 (12th century b.c.) made a self-induced miscarriage (an abortion) a capital offense.”

I could go on and on but you get my drift. There is NO WAY that a true, mature, born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ can possibly vote for the Satanic, demonic, Democrat party agenda of death, destruction, socialism, and ultimately communism. Jesus Christ never would support this, nor should his followers.

Republican and conservative ideals are not perfect but they do match FAR BETTER with Biblical principles. They do respect the sanctity of life, believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, believe in the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms, and believe the U.S. Constitution is not open for compromise.

Your decision is your own. If you choose to project blame on something so minor, your vote is wasted anyway.

You can certainly dish it out, but you can't take it!

If your goal is to convince the majority of people in America that abortion is wrong then you have to go about it in a non religious way. If your goal is to browbeat them over the head with the bible and prove you're right, then you are going to turn a large portion of people off. One way might convince them you are correct and thus save millions of lives. Another way will further the divide and the murder of millions will continue. Let me ask you this, when Jesus taught people did he not use parables that applied moral truths without quoting the prophets or old testament writings? Who were the ones that browbeat the people with what was written in the old testament? Was it not the pharisees?

"Now, we’re in a Post-Modernist world, where there is NO objective source of truth."

This is where you are incorrect. As Americans, we can use the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, BOR, Amendments and the Federalist papers as our objective source of truth. In those documents we find that we are endowed with certain unalienable rights by our Creator. Notice, it does not mention who the creator is. It is up to the individual to make that choice. The important point is that we have rights that were granted to us by something other than the government. One of these rights is the right to life. The Federal government has a duty and an obligation to protect our unalienable rights. Thus they have the duty and obligation to protect our lives. Since the government has that duty, we as citizens need to convince our fellow citizens that these unborn are living beings and not some chattle to be thrown away. That's how you can convince people in a non biblical way that abortion is wrong and needs to be stopped.

Nurse Says Obama Supports Infanticide

Yes, he does. And that is just one reason why that evil maniac must not win the Presidency.

Not sure in what context you state this, but I'm not aware of McCain supporters being "lambasted" for supporting him.

Apparently, you just haven't visited the right threads on FR.

Sometimes, and sometimes he quoted the prophets and old testament writings.

I’m currently studying worldviews, including Modernist and Post-Modernist. I am correct in my statement that the post-modern mindset uses no objective point of truth.

Seriously, how many post-modern leftists have you encountered that put any stock in the sources of truth that you reference. Maybe.... ZERO!

Yes, us as conservatives reference these documents, but we’re actually saying they have original meaning.

The Post-Modernist, BY DEFINITION, has no belief in an objective source of truth outside of their own interpretation. The Post-Modernist takes a “Deconstructionist” viewpoint in which the written word has NO MEANING except as interpreted by the reader. This is an intentional dismissal of historical documents, including the founding documents and the Bible.

The type of people you are describing here can never be reached if truth is merely what you interpet it to be. The pro life movement’s goal should not be to convince everyone that abortion is the killing of innocent Americans. That goal is unrealistic and I would not even bother to attempt to convince the people you describe. We should have as a goal to convince enough Americans that we can overturn Roe vs. Wade (with the appointment of enough constitutional not activist judges to the Supreme Court) and then work on outlawing abortion everywhere.

We’re in agreement on all the relevant points.

You can’t use the Bible as a reference or proof with those who don’t see it as a source of truth.

You can’t convince people on a nationwide level that abortion is wrong and should be outlawed.

The route to save the most innocent lives is through overturning RvW and fighting state to state until 3/4 or more of the states have restrictions - then go for a pro-life amendment at the national level.
