Every one of my friends in the Engineering School had multiple offers from different employers. Every one of them is earning over $60K plus benefits.
If you partied college away and screwed around in a worthless major (few majors are truly worthless, but almost anything that includes the word "studies" qualifies, though) and decided not to pursue a practical advanced degree (like an MBA, a JD, or an MA/MS/ME/MCS in Engineering or the Physical Sciences), tough luck. Payback's a bitch, ain't it?
Unfortunately, those folks vote.

That’s great news. Love to hear it. Perhaps, and with any luck more students will choose Engineering in this country to reduce, or stop entirely the headhunting for Engineers in India, Asia, and other foreign countries prevelant over the last fifteen or twenty years.
Meanwhile the other students not choosing that high demand Engineering career are out there looking for work, thus pumping up the unemployed American numbers as they always do this time of year. I’m not saying that in itself is a bad thing, just that the Leftist Barry O’s types are using the annual event to claim in their campaigns that Bush’s tax cut economy is a failure, and raising everyones taxes through the roof is what will correct the problem.
It’s BS.
