One place missing is Florida

However, Arizona is missing as well and other Western states are missing (Oregon, New Mexico, and others).

Most likely source would be Mexico or Central America.

There have been 145 reported Salmonella cases in US since mid-April...

An unusual strain of the bacteria, called salmonella saintpaul, has sickened people in at least 16 states since April 16.

Twenty-three have been hospitalized. The majority of the infections have occurred in New Mexico and Texas, but cases also have been reported in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

I believe the Tomato Salmonella, like the Spinach Salmonella and other outbreaks, are terrorist tactics, plain and simple. Of course, the powers-that-be will never admit that. They want you to believe the terrorists are only interested in flying planes into buildings.
