That’s a good question. How can he be sworn in if congress don’t know that is actually eligible?

But I venture that its probably a trap. He holds it off in the hopes that the GOP makes a big deal out of it and then when he releases it its all OK. I can’t imagine that his party would let him get this far without assurance.

The only way to avoid the trap is to let Bob Barr do the muckraking on behalf of the Libertarian party, possibly attempt to have his name stripped from ballots in several of the 50 states on the grounds that he has not proven his eligibility. Hey, maybe he’s really only 29 years old?

Or maybe he's really 10 years older than he claims and he was born in the Hawaiian Territories ... but not the State of Hawaii.

(*) yeah, I know his birthdate -- Hawaii was part of the Union ...
