I worry about GOP insiders, they have done nothing to improve the GOP.
GOP “insiders” = paid political consultant. I have been one, believe me paid political consultants are paid to worry. They worry if their candidate was running unopposed. They NEVER admit their candidate is going to win, EVER!
Nothing that they say will change the fact that barack mcgovern is on his way to the worst ash kicking in American history.
White women are not voting for him. White men will not vote for him. Hispanics will not vote for him.
Where do his votes come from? Kerry and Gore got ALL of the Black vote and lost. The clearasil crowd? The ones that elected Gore and Kerry?
Just Kidding!
“Part two is to run pessimistic headlines in order to make doubtful GOP voters even more convinced of the hopelessness of a McCain campaign.”
Thank You. You’re correct. It’s all part of the Marxist itinerary, that and “change”.
All the crap over all the years has been instigated by the Socialist/Leftists efforts to create disgruntlement for the purpose of making our society long for “change”. It’s a psycho-war. Another undeclared war, but existing.
Totally by design.
Did you notice how the story of McCain's first wife appeared last week?

Disheartening comments again!
The true campaign is only beginning and Republicans should work instead of whining...
Some of us outsiders do, too.
Yes I do.
Do YOU realize that the quote with which I was agreeing was from a Post by “Ron Jeremy”, NOT from the article?
And whether you want to admit it or not, the Republicrats SCREWED UP when WE put them in control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate, all at the same time. The current situation is a Cluster-Fox-trot of the GOP’s own making.
In reality there is only one candidate. Barack Obama. In November he will win or he will lose. John McCain is relevant only in so far as he is not Barack Obama. The Senator from Arizona is incapable of energizing his party, brings no new people to the polls, and has a personality that is best kept under wraps.
Ms. Buchanan nails it. This election is Obama's to mess up. Additionally, while Obama has been through the ringer (with Wright, his wife, and the mess with Hillary)in the last few months, the media is just now starting on McCain. Without the media's preoccupation with Hillary, it will not get easier for McCain between now and election day.
It's a crying shame that McCain and the higher-ups in the GOP haven't been interested in the conservative wing of the party. I refuse to give any more money or votes to people who mock my values.
"Whoa is us, Whoa is us, we're all going to die..."
“We should have nominated Mitt Romney.”
Sadly agree.
The first thing the insiders did was to thumb their noses and piss off the base. No surprises there. Anyone have a telephone number for these morons so we can call them and educate these POS.
BTW, please spread this around:
Worth printing out and taping to gas pumps.....
$140 a barrel petroleum, and its headed further up. Adding to the cost of food, possible inflation and driving the dollar down in international trade. And we are at the mercy of Venezula, Iran and other bad actors, as well as Nigeria and other unstable places, due to our huge need for imported oil.
So what has congress done?
ANWR Exploration
House Republicans: 91% Supported
House Democrats: 86% Opposed
Coal-to-Liquid
House Republicans: 97% Supported
House Democrats: 78% Opposed
Oil Shale Exploration
House Republicans: 90% Supported
House Democrats: 86% Opposed
Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Exploration
House Republicans: 81% Supported
House Democrats: 83% Opposed
(And the Democrats do this as Cuba and China drill for Cuba barely 50 miles off our shores in South Florida)
Refinery Increased Capacity
House Republicans: 97% Supported
House Democrats: 96% Opposed
SUMMARY
91% of House Republicans have historically voted to increase the production of American-made oil and gas.

Over the past 30 years:

Democrats have blocked drilling off of the east coast.

Democrats have blocked clean coal production.
Democrats believe taxing and suing oil companies will somehow bring down gas prices.
The Democrats have sold out to radical environmentalists, and in doing so have set in place the conditions that can bring ruin to this nation.
Wonder why your groceries cost more? Why you are paying $4 and soon $5 a gallon for gasoline? Wonder why your power bill is going up?
*Put the blame where it belongs: the Democrats*
When will the American People wake up?
" God, I so hope you're right."
I think we're being set up for some serious chaos (not the Limbaugh type) and turmoil...........I see dark clouds on the horizon.
Agreed! Why is the editor of Huff-n-Puff getting face time at FR?
You all are forgetting that there were three conservatives, Thompson, Hunter and Tancredo running and they split the vote. That and the early open primary is what got us McCain, IMHO.
I am real worried about this obama character getting in.
Thank you for posting the HARD FACTS that there are still HUGE differences between the RAT party and the GOP.
