Heck, maybe Hillary’s supporters are happy to vote for McCain, so that Obama isn’t an incumbent president running for re-election in 2012.
But then what about their love of abortion rights? Ruth Bader Ginsburg and John Paul Stevens are very likely to retire from the Supreme Court in the next four years. McCain may appoint conservative replacements.
I'm quite sure they don't have to worry about that.
Barack Hussein Obama, says of his nominees, We need somebody whos got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what its like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what its like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old and thats the criteria by which Ill be selecting my judges.
John McCain says of his nominees, The duties and boundaries of the Constitution are not just a set of helpful suggestions. They are not just guidelines to be observed when its convenient and loosely interpreted when it isnt. In federal and state courts there are still men and women who understand the proper role of our judiciary and I intend to find them and promote them. My nominees will understand that there are clear limits to the scope of judicial power.
It was McCain who “Reached accross the isle” and voted for Ginsberg in the first place. He also voted for Souter and correct me if I’m wrong, Stevens.
As far as how he will appoint Judges, follow his actual record. They all look very Liberal from what I can see. And he disgraced Alito with the; “He wears his Conservatism on his sleeve.” comment.
As far as “listening” to Conservatives, just follow his record there also, and look at the bills he has sponsored; McCain/Kennedy, McCain/Feingold, McCain/Lieberman, the list goes on for this Liberal loving RINO.
I simply can not support him or vote for him. (My way of saying “thanks”, for all those years of betrayal.)
