To be consistent, Bill Nelson (D-FL) should propose that the Constitution be amended to eliminate the U.S. Senate. After all, each State gets two senators regardless of population, and this is unfair to the big States.
Nelson has just about zero understanding of the reasons why the founding fathers established an electoral system, which is to ensure state sovereignty and prevent tyranny of the majority.
