We have been under a tornado watch since mid-afternoon. Sirens went off but didn’t see a tornado here.
That mess is headed my way (southern MI) and the western half of the state is under a tornado watch. The worst of yesterday’s storms just missed us and — miracle of miracles — our power didn’t go out. A pigeon sneezing can cause a power outage in my area.
It’s hard not to worry about the power. I’ve got a deep freeze full of food for my son’s open house on the 21st!!

I saw the damage through Clinton County today. Amazed that there were no injuries.
Sailboats out on Lake Michigan are going to have a tough time.
