He did seem to just come out of nowhere.
I believe he owes much of his success to the media, who have carefully constructed him like they were building a monument.
I call him the Test Tube candidate of the MSM.
An excellent comparison. I like to think of him in poker terms, as the 7-2 offsuit candidate. Worst possible starting hand in texas holdem.
We all know that the Dems love to try to foist the worst kind of liberalism on the nation every 4 years with whatever candidate they bring forward, but this time, it's like they're trying to outdo themselves in lunacy.
Both the media and the Dems working together might believe that this election, after 8 years of nothing but pushing "bad news" down everyone's throat, is their best opportunity to put one of the most dangerous practitioners of their ideology to date, in the WH, knowing full well that half this nation is stupid enough to fall for a marxist wrapped in airy slogans like "change" and "hope" and "yes we can!"
And if he fails to win? Eh, no big deal! They'll just continue to do what they've been doing: Dumbing down the populace, undermining all that is good and right, and biding their time, waiting for the ignorance of this nation to reach a critical mass, which will allow all their marxist dreams to finally come to fruition, eventually. For the Dems, it's starting to appear as though they're willing to lose every presidential election, as long as they can win one, eventually. They shove all-in with 7-2 offsuit every 4 years, and eventually their miracle suckout will happen and be turned into a full house one time, and boom, they'll rake in the pot. Who cares if no more hands are dealt after that?
That's how I think they see presidential elections anymore. Eventually, they are banking on the stupidity of the public mixed with nothing but bad news to put their dream commie in the WH. Obama is just the latest, most brazen attempt.
Perhaps his experience as a Senator is so minimal because they believe this cycle represents their best chance to make that happen, experience be damned.
