Some of us indeed have souls, it's the only thing keeping NE alive! But far too many do not. NE is known nationwide for being cold, unfeeling, unfriendly, and just in general, people who do not want to “get involved”. I can attest to that as someone who grew up in NE and then experienced the stark difference in the south. We are not ALL that way, but as has been stated, far too many are.
This incident exemplifies that.
