I agree with both of the previous posters. You can’t establish control of the ground until you control the air and you can’t establish a victory without boots on the ground.

I too agree, and I’m wondering what this has to do with the allegations. Our bomber tanker, fighter, logistical, and drone aircraft have been used to the max in Iraq and Afghanistan. What’s the beef?

Army Navy, Marines, National guard, etc are in the same boat. I guess I need to read the article.

Initial appearance is, someone has a screw loose, and it does not appear to be the Air Force.

Good points. I think the fighters are not pushed to the max, even in dual roles. The tankers and transport however are always over taxed, particularly the transports. There are never enough C-5s and 17s, especially during a build-up.
