Welcome to what it’s like to live in a Third World country. In Guatemala, Columbia, etc., this is very common (or at least was when I had friends living there). Except it didn’t take so many thugs. A few with a gun at a stop light and the driver was left standing there (if he was lucky) while the thugs sped off in his vehicle.

My cars have after-market mob-deterrent systems.

They consists of the following:

1) One (1) Loaded, 5-shot .357 magnum revolver.
2) One (1) Loaded 7-shot .45 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol with (minimum) one (1) spare, loaded, magazine.

I do, of course, utilize several variants to this system, and there is sometimes even a couple of “surprises” available for the potential mob.

Strangely, a mob has never attacked me anywhere I have driven. Coincidence? Perhaps...
