I guess, in a perverse way, giving Iran one free shot with a nuclear weapon aimed at Israel would reduce the threat Iran poses to the Middle East since the weapon would eliminate Israel.

Hence, no more threat to the Middle East.

Slick, Obama.

>>>Hence, no more threat to the Middle East.<<<

Your thinking coincides with that of both Reid and Pelosi.

Surely your only "thinking out loud". But then thats what they were doing, declaring defeat in Iraq.

What needs to be made emphatically clear, is that, any attack on Israel will be considered an attack on the United States and full retaliation, to the maximum of our capabilities, will be the result.

As charles Krauthammer put it:
How to create deterrence? The way John Kennedy did during the Cuban missile crisis. President Bush should issue the following declaration, adopting Kennedy's language while changing the names of the miscreants:

It shall be the policy of this nation to regard any nuclear attack upon Israel by Iran, or originating in Iran, as an attack by Iran on the United States, requiring a full retaliatory response upon Iran.
